Most of these Gazebo's are left out all year. That means rain in the winter. This top, as with any using Velcro to attach I have since learned, will not stand up to even a medium rainfall. The sides collapse into a trough for the water to puddle and does not run off. No mater how tight you try to get the Velcro fasteners they will not stay tight and allow water to run off. Might be o.k. if you only intend to use it for shade when it is not likely to rain.

The fabric is fairly thin, and it fits pretty loose on the frame, could have used a couple inches off each side to make it fit tighter and pull the fabric taught. My gazebo was the spot on, exact gazebo in the picture and was expecting it to fit the same as pictured. It's not a terrible cover by any means, it works for the intended purpose, but will not fit as the picture shows. I plan to put an actual built on porch cover on our house in the next year anyway so it will surely last at least that long.

Also it is not waterproof in the least. If you think you can sit outside under it in the rain, bring an umbrella.
